Virginia Chinese Learning and Testing Center (VCTC) is a registered non-profit organization, which focuses on Chinese language Learning and Testing. It is based on Virginia Beach, Virginia and is certified to conduct Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) in person or online. HKS is an international standardized exam that tests and rates Chinese language proficiency. It assesses non-native Chinese speakers’ abilities in using the Chinese language. Other than the standard HSK tests, VCTC also offer HSK Speaking Test (HSKK), Business Chinese Test (BCT), Youth Chinese Test YCT; and Medical Chinese Test (MCT).
The mission of VCTC is to promote Chinese language learning and testing in the United States. It aims to help develop Chinese language learning in Virginia with the emphasis on the Hampton Roads area. It will support cultural activities related to promoting Chinese language and culture. VCTC is willing to work with local Chinese-American communities and other partners to accomplish these objectives. It will also champion civic engagement and cultural identity formation among the Asian-Americans via cultural programs.
